Recreation area Nadelbach
A trip to Lapwing and Marsh Lily
The Nadelbach recreation area at the end of the Hafingerweg is ecologically particularly appealing. The wet meadows bordering the meandering meadow stream are home to cuckoo campion and yellow marsh lily. Around 50 bird species observed by the LANIUS research community breed in the wooded areas along the Nadelbach. Among other things, partridge, wryneck and lapwing have found a new home. There is also an approximately 200-year-old oak tree in the area.
