Natural monument Siebenbründl

Orchids and magnificent carnations on a 4.2 hectare biotope of the city

Unique in the region
Geologically, this is a spring depression on the edge of the eastern high terrace of the Traisental near Pottenbrunn.

The formerly adjacent, intensively cultivated arable land has been converted into meadows that have not been fertilized since 1993, have only been mowed since the end of June 2019 and have thus developed into species-rich flower meadows.

Sustainable biotope maintenance of the riparian areas with volunteers has been taking place for more than 20 years!
