Culinary fireworks: the Gourmet Festival in St. Pölten 2023
This fall, the charming Lower Austrian capital of St. Pölten was transformed into a true paradise for gourmets. From October 9 to November 9, the Gourmet Festival organized by the gastro*stp association (link to Facebook page) invited guests to enjoy and feast. Over the course of a month, guests of Genuss Pur in St. Pölten were able to enjoy a total of 18 exquisite culinary events hosted by St. Pölten's innkeepers.
A variety of flavors!
The participating restaurants put together an impressive culinary offering. The dishes ranged from traditional Austrian cuisine to creations with an international flair. Whether you were a fan of savory dishes or sweet temptations, everyone got their money's worth here - a pure delight!
The local cuisine
The St. Pölten Innkeepers' Association showed its best side here and proudly presented what the region has to offer in culinary terms. Fresh, local ingredients and traditional recipes were the focus of many events. Not to forget: the mayor Matthias Stadler's own specialties. These ranged from a refreshing summer salad, inspired by a summer vacation in Novalja, to an autumnal chestnut soup and a traditional apple pie based on grandma's tried and tested recipe. For gourmets and connoisseurs, this feast was an unforgettable experience that will live long in the memory. We can't wait to see what next fall has in store!
