Feldmühle nature trail - home of the frogs
Welcome to the natural adventure "Auwald"
Between Mühlbach and Traisen north of the Ratzersdorfer See, the wilderness in the alluvial forest can be felt intensively. In the floodplain of the Traisenau you can admire the beauty of the yellow water lilies from the jetty and observe tree and water frogs. The area impresses with species-rich flower meadows, which provide a habitat for a large variety of butterflies and beetles without the use of sprays and late mowing. A mighty elm tree, which was declared a natural monument in 1997, impresses to the north.
