Traisental bike trail
The 111-kilometer-long Traisental bike trail is one of the most popular cycling trails in the whole region. It leads from Traismauer near the Danube River through the wine country of the Traisental to St. Pölten. Then it is on to Lilienfeld and St. Aegyd am Neuwalde before reaching Mariazell. Families may prefer to experience the captivating scenery by riding in the opposite direction since it is somewhat less strenuous. There are also opportunities to rent E-Bikes along the trail.
